about me

my name is alicia Gentes and i am a fourth-year graphic design student at Rochester Institute of technology(rit.)My interests include editorial design, branding, poster design, and photography.  I enjoy bringing traditional mediums and digital media together to create abstract designs. I also enjoy taking nontraditional art materials and making them so. Whether its a mixed media piece or a collage in PhotoShop, I love making compositions of layer and complexity. 

I've always loved art and just making things, whether it's a silly craft from the store or a meaningful set of posters to spread a message. I love creating, and I cannot wait to see what the rest of my journey at RIT brings me. There's still so much to learn, but I honestly can't wait to get out into the industry and gain more experience!
